The Art and Environment Ministry is called to serve the Parish in preparing a prayerful environment for worship which will bring parishioners closer to God. This Committee works under the Liturgy Committee and focuses on the Church Liturgical Seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Ordinary Time. The Art and Environment Committee is responsible for preparing and decorating the Church Sanctuary and Chapel.
Members of the Committee do not need special skills, just enthusiasm and a willingness to be open to ideas. The Committee can always use help with floral arranging, an eye for decorating, a willingness to shop for materials, water plants, and take down and put up items. Those needing service hours are always welcome!
Daily, weekly or seasonal help is always welcome. The major Liturgical Seasons of Easter and Christmas usually take three to four hours. You can choose the work you want to do according to your time availability.
