St. Matthew Electronic Giving
Electronic Funds Transfer ("EFT") Offertory Plan
Convenient and secure for you. Consistent and reliable for St. Matthew Parish.
Save time, simplify your life, and support our parish! We're keeping up with the times by offering our parishioners a new way to help our ministry. Our Electronic Giving program is an automated program that will allow you to make contributions without having to lift a pen to write a check or reach into your wallet for cash!
On a weekly, monthly or one-time basis you authorize your offertory donation to be withdrawn from your bank or credit account automatically. You will continue to receive a year-end statement of your donations for tax purposes from the parish office, but your bank or credit account statement will provide an additional record of your giving.
Once you enroll in the EFT program you will no longer receive the regular offertory envelopes for those contributions which you have authorized on a recurring basis electronically, but you will continue to receive envelopes for holy days and special collections for a variety of needs. However, you may always come to our website to donate for these special occasions on a one-time basis.
Electronic Giving makes life easier for you and yields very significant benefits for our church.
Benefits for You:
- The satisfaction of giving to God first
- Easier to fulfill stewardship commitments
- Strengthens participation and support in the church

Benefits for our Church:
- Promotes consistent giving. Our parish needs your support.
- More predictable cash flow for better planning
- Less work for parish office staff

Of course you can cancel your authorization of transfer at any time by notifying us in writing, but we believe that once you have enjoyed the convenience and savings of this EFT program, you won't want to go back to the "old-fashioned" way of contributing to our parish!
